Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store goods in designated temperature zones to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely operate industrial equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) to load and unload trucks and containers.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment by organizing stock and removing debris.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or quality issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Documentation: Ensure all necessary paperwork, including packing slips and temperature logs, is completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in fluctuating temperatures ranging from 35°F to 45°F.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
