Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick and pack customer orders according to picking tickets and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify product counts and ensure that all items are correctly labeled and placed in the appropriate storage locations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, forklifts (if certified), and pallet jacks as required by the role.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies or quality issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read and understand instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
