Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock placement.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area to meet strict health and safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Temperature Tolerance: Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 40°F.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills required for inventory counting and packaging.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety in a fast-paced setting.
