Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload refrigerated trucks and transfer goods to storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Organize, stock, and rotate inventory in freezers and coolers to ensure FIFO compliance.
- Maintenance: Perform routine checks on equipment and report any temperature or mechanical issues immediately.
- Packaging: Properly palletize and wrap products for shipment using provided equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below 40°F) and stand for long periods.
- Lifting Ability: Capable of lifting and moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and safety checks.
- Communication: Basic reading and math skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual with a history of consistent attendance.
