Job Summary
As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and distribution of temperature-sensitive goods in our state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy inventory within the cold storage facility.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure all products are stored at the correct temperature to preserve quality and safety.
- Perform regular sanitation and cleaning duties in the warehouse and cooler areas.
- Assist in packing and labeling shipments for distribution.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (below 40°F) for extended periods.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50+ pounds.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage facility is preferred.
- Must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
