Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and log temperature data in storage units to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock within freezer and cooler sections.
- Perform regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the storage environment clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.
- Adhere to strict food safety and handling protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (freezer and cooler conditions).
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and scanning.
- Reliable transportation to and from the San Francisco facility.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and team collaboration.
