Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the refrigerated warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Monitor temperature logs and ensure compliance with strict safety and health regulations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment with precision.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners.
- Assist in the packaging, labeling, and preparation of goods for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (32°F and below) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long shifts.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
