Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipment using appropriate materials and methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
- Report damaged goods, missing inventory, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
