Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all storage areas.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure strict food safety and quality compliance.
- Prepare pallets for shipping according to customer specifications and shipping standards.
- Assist in regular inventory counts and stock organization to optimize warehouse flow.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50+ pounds) repeatedly.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures may range from -10°F to 40°F).
- Basic math skills for inventory management and reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
