Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect and organize inventory within the cold storage units, ensuring proper rotation and FIFO procedures.
- Maintain accurate temperature logs and ensure compliance with all safety regulations (OSHA) and food safety standards.
- Package and label orders accurately for shipment to meet delivery deadlines.
- Perform regular cleaning and safety checks of the storage areas to prevent spoilage and accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve any logistical issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below freezing) for extended periods.
