What You Will Do:
As a Warehouse Loader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are moved efficiently and accurately. Your day will involve a variety of tasks to keep our warehouse running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto and off of trucks, pallets, and conveyors using hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Inventory Verification: Check merchandise against bills of lading to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by stacking and arranging materials in an orderly fashion.
- Packaging: Properly package goods for shipping to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including shipping logs and inventory lists.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not always required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documentation.
- Work Ethic: Motivated self-starter who works well in a team environment and can follow instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including potential weekends or overtime during peak seasons.
