Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory while maintaining strict organization and labeling standards.
- Temperature Control: Monitor storage units to ensure temperatures remain within safe and required ranges for product preservation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily production goals and operational deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in extreme cold (30°F or lower) and stand/walk for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts including overtime.
- Equipment: Willingness to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
