Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload materials onto and off trailers, pallets, and racks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and logging of inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of obstructions to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- No Experience Needed: Previous forklift experience is a plus, but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Background Check: Willingness to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand safety instructions and communicate with team members.
