Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a refrigerated environment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and record inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy.
- Temperature Compliance: Monitor and log storage temperatures regularly to ensure product integrity and safety standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain clean, organized aisles and storage racks to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, condition, and proper labeling.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage environments is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Driving: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Safety Focus: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols.
