Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Load/unload pallets of perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory counts and stock rotation in compliance with FIFO protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety standards in cold environments
- Assist with quality control inspections and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily operational goals
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
