Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature controls in refrigerated/freezer environments (-10°F to 45°F)
- Load/unload pallets of food products using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Conduct quality checks and document inventory in digital tracking systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment to maintain sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow and meet daily shipment deadlines
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- No prior cold storage experience required – we provide full training!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and temperature monitoring
- Valid government-issued photo ID and ability to pass background check
- Reliable transportation to our 24/7 facility (early/late shifts available)
- Willingness to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Team player with positive attitude in fast-paced environments
