Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies to maintain high accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement workflow optimizations to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Handle scheduling and time-off requests, offering flexible arrangements to meet business needs.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Valid forklift and material handling equipment certification.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
