Job Summary
As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a vital role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that products are stored at the correct temperatures and are ready for shipping. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure timely distribution.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, sorting, and organizing inventory within the cold storage environment.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and record temperature logs regularly to ensure compliance with safety regulations and product integrity.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
- Packaging: Properly package items to prevent damage during transit and storage.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with little to no background in warehousing.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Temperature Tolerance: Must be comfortable working in freezing cold environments (0°F to 40°F).
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and excellent attendance record.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to follow safety instructions and communicate with the team.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
