Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload palletized freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of counts and documentation.
- Cold Storage Maintenance: Monitor temperature logs in the freezer and cooler units to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Equipment Handling: Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and data entry.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
