Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled storage environments (typically 35°F - 40°F).
- Conduct regular inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all products are handled according to safety standards and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols.
- Inspect equipment and facility for safety hazards or maintenance needs; report issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and safety goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Willingness to work in extreme cold temperatures and stand for long periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and OSHA regulations.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
