Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move stock.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in scanning and counting inventory.
- Equipment: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a major plus.
