Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks and storage containers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are correct within the freezer environments.
- Temperature Control: Monitor temperature logs and ensure that all cold storage areas remain within safe operating parameters.
- Packaging: Properly package and label products to prevent damage during storage and transit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods in cold environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required (we provide paid training).
