Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and perform pre-shift equipment inspections to prevent accidents.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient order fulfillment processes.
- Load Preparation: Properly load and secure products onto trailers and trucks, ensuring weight distribution and load stability.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, including keeping aisles clear and organizing storage zones.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution environments.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
