Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and record inventory stock using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipping with speed and precision.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to ensure efficient workflow and prevent accidents.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, such as packing slips and delivery logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
