Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperature control in refrigerated/freezer environments (-10°F to 45°F)
- Safely load/unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Inspect products for quality and compliance with food safety standards
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, conveyors, and scanners
- Follow HACCP and OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Complete inventory counts and documentation in warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team to maintain efficient workflow and cold chain integrity
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (refrigerated/freezer conditions)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Willingness to operate warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all roles)
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- No felony convictions (required for food handling positions)
