Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trailers using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and maintain optimal warehouse temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Perform inventory counts and cycle checks in cold storage zones
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Operate warehouse management system (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas according to protocols
- Collaborate with team for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (4-6 hours/day)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to cargo district location
- Pass background check and drug screening
