Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks and containers using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring cargo security.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records within the refrigerated storage units.
- Ensure temperature compliance by regularly checking facility sensors and reporting any malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following sanitation guidelines and removing hazards.
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Scissor Lifts) safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Training: Forklift certification is a plus but not required; on-site training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
