Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials from trucks to storage areas.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and update warehouse management systems (WMS) in real-time.
- Maintain a pristine and safe work environment by adhering to strict OSHA safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Stack and organize products according to height, weight limits, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to streamline workflow.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and orderliness at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily productivity targets.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
