Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect and rotate inventory using FIFO methods to prevent spoilage
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following HACCP protocols
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements digitally
- Collaborate with remote supervisors via digital platforms
- Respond to temperature alerts and equipment malfunctions
- Train on new cold storage technologies and safety procedures
Qualifications
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer skills for inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits
