Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, packages, and materials in and out of the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records within the cold storage environment, ensuring all products are properly labeled and stored.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Perform regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to prevent damage and spoilage.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for seamless order processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage aisles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not mandatory (we provide on-the-job training).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld scanning devices.
