Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to move, locate, and relocate stock within the warehouse facility.
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Load and unload freight onto trailers and trucks, ensuring proper securing and safety protocols.
- Package and prepare goods for shipment, adhering to shipping labels and documentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in warehouse organization and layout improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not required for training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
