Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure peak performance and safety compliance.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse workflows and layout to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to resolve shipping discrepancies and inventory shortages.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Valid Forklift Certification and OSHA 10/30 Hour Construction/General Industry Safety Training.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and overtime as required.
