Responsibilities
- Inventory Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize inventory within the temperature-controlled environment to ensure optimal storage conditions.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize provided forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently and safely.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and cold-storage safety regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders with speed and accuracy to meet daily production targets.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods, work in cold environments (32°F and below), and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or cold storage facility is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Reliability: Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Must have excellent observational skills to ensure inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to understand safety instructions and coordinate with team members.
