Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain temperature logs to ensure strict compliance with food safety and storage regulations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy before processing.
- Perform regular stock rotation and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cold storage facility, including ice and snow removal.
- Assist in packaging and labeling products according to company standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below 40°F) for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory data.
- Reliable transportation to the Santa Ana facility.
