Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital control systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in temperature-controlled zones
- Conduct daily equipment inspections (forklifts, pallet jacks, coolers) and report malfunctions
- Follow HACCP protocols for food safety and sanitation procedures
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
