Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead, train, and motivate 25+ warehouse associates with performance metrics
- Implement lean inventory management systems to reduce waste by 20%
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling and load optimization
- Conduct weekly safety audits and corrective action planning
- Manage warehouse budget and cost-control initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift certification required
- Proven expertise in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Excellent conflict resolution and team leadership abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
- Forklift operation and Pallet Jack certification
- Experience with automation technology (AS/RS, conveyors)
