Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments from refrigerated trucks and containers.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Temperature Control: Strictly adhere to safety protocols to maintain optimal temperature ranges (0°F to 40°F) in all storage areas.
- Packaging: Properly package and label products to prevent damage and spoilage during storage and transit.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse safety procedures to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods in cold conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid US work authorization and valid ID.
