As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that perishable goods are handled with care and stored at optimal temperatures. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently, adhering to weight limits.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records within the refrigerated facility.
- Ensure proper temperature control and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the storage areas to prevent spoilage and ensure hygiene.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and logistics coordination.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in varying temperature conditions.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or cold storage environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (34°F - 40°F) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation to the Tucson facility.
