Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Inspect and record equipment functionality and inventory levels
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Operate automated inventory management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
