Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer facilities
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks and organize inventory in cold storage zones
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with strict safety protocols
- Monitor product quality and report inventory discrepancies or temperature deviations
- Adhere to HACCP standards and sanitation procedures for food safety compliance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment
- Complete accurate inventory logs and temperature documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to -10°F) for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and temperature monitoring
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Commitment to safety protocols and punctuality
- Team player with strong communication skills
