Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage units
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate refrigeration equipment and troubleshoot basic issues
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas following sanitation standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
