Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for inventory movement
- Inspect and record product quality/temperature data
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Coordinate with team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
