Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated goods efficiently
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Perform inventory audits and accurate stock rotation using FIFO methods
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety standards for cold storage operations
- Sanitize equipment and facilities to meet food safety compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless warehouse operations
- Document daily activities and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
