Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer environments
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Execute proper sanitation procedures and adhere to HACCP standards
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Operate in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Willingness to complete paid certification program (4 weeks)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- No prior cold storage experience required
