Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer environments (-20°F to 45°F)
- Safely handle, palletize, and inventory perishable food products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety standards (HACCP protocols)
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners) following OSHA safety guidelines
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing shipments and document discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in cold environments (0-45°F) for extended periods
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
