Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/untract refrigerated freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for cold storage environments
- Operate heavy machinery including reach trucks and order pickers
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless dock operations
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outbound shipments
- Optimize stacking procedures to maximize warehouse space utilization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/loading experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environments
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Experience with WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Valid Alaska driver's license
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
