Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and dock area.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform daily pre-shift inspections.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
