Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure product safety and compliance with health codes.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels in the cold storage areas.
- Perform daily safety checks and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Assist in the packaging and shipping of goods according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (below 40°F) for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not already certified.
