Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport goods within the temperature-controlled environment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with safety standards.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package items for shipping, apply appropriate labels, and organize stock in designated areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Quality Control: Monitor product conditions to ensure goods are not damaged during storage or transit.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in cold temperatures (34°F - 38°F).
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
