Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and temperature control standards.
- Perform regular quality checks on stored goods to prevent spoilage or damage.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in safe and working condition.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and ensuring efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (34°F to 36°F).
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
